Sorry to hear about your forum issues.
I back up when I remember to, which is, scarily, only about once a month. NEVER use the vBulletin interface to backup your forum. Telnet into your server and type: mysqldump --opt -uUSER -pPASSWORD FORUMNAME > DIRECTORYbackup04-05-2002.sql replacing USER with the username, PASSWORD for your password, FORUMNAME with the mysql database name and DIRECTORY with your home directory on your FTP. For example mysqldump --opt -uelvis -pgraceland elvisimpersonatorsforum > /home/elvisimp/backup04-05-2002.sql And you don't need all these forum admins. Frankly, I don't see the need for more than 1 forum admin unless it's just an enormous server. It's better to make everyone a moderator but give your login and password to a friend "just in case". |

Well...
I dont own the site... There would be at least 2 Admins... I am trying to work on a hack that will load one Control panel for myself and the Owner, and another panel for other admins, with less options... Satan |

shouldn't be that hard, i have made an extra cp for my supermods, so they have more rights than normal mods (like template changing or something) but not those rights to change usergroupperms...
ok, you have to edit some files, but most of the time you can copy your ACP files |
