ok, i need to move to a new server, but i cant telnet and all that stuff to get the databases to move it, so is there a hack that makes it easy to move the users, posts, and everything else?
if not, can someone make it or maybe just a hack that moves the users any help on this would be wonderful, thanks |

well thats what i thought, but at vb.com it gives a walkthru that talks abou telnetting to this and that, real confusing stuff,
so are they just out of date on their stuff or what? |

nah, they say using telnet is the best way of doing so, but if you don't have telnet access, use PHPMyAdmin, if you don't feel like installing it if your host doesn't provides it, then use vBulletin's database backup.

to restore a database, you'll have to use PHPMyAdmin, I looked around and couldn't find the retore funtion in the AdminCP....it isn't that hard to restore from PHPMyAdmin.
