Auto Post Calendar Hack?
Hello,
I am looking for a hack where one could designate a particular forum for "Events" and all top threads submitted to that forum would automatically be copied to the calendar. This would provide an easy way for users to check the latest events and any replys concerning them as well as automatcially keeping the calendar up to date without having to manually double post an event. Likewise, if someone posts to the calendar directly, it would automatically be added to the "Events" forum. This would offer users the ability to ask questions etc. about an upcoming event in the forum and get responses from the individual advertising the event. Or perhaps, have a list of events button on the calendar where you could view and reply to anything posted? Whatever is easiest... Hope this makes sense... Anyone tried this? Could not find it posted here. Thanks. |

6th that. I'm looking for a way to have an event listed and then associate a thread with it that is displayed with the event listing on the calendar. It's part of a complete update to my personal site at http://hsv.streetracing.org. Look at the event calendar and you'll get an idea of what I'm trying to automate. Any suggestions welcome.
