I would like to have a vBulletin to vBulletin post/thread/members converter, which would take a vbulletin with say... 35,000 posts and 500 members and lots of database modifications and convert it to a completely default (no modifications in the database what so ever) vBulletin.

This would make it much easier for people to upgrade to 3.0, when it comes out.

yep... i could do with this.. i have the data for an old board... and would like to transfer the members over (but without the posts etc)...

hmm, i'd say you should delete all extra field you have added into the tables user, threads, post, forums... then make a dump of these tables, install vb after deleting the hole DB and then upload the dump again

The reason I request this, is because I have made so many modifications to the database, I'm afraid I'll miss one, and even then, it's unlikely that the database will be in its default state.
