Default Tutorial on converting vbulletin 3.8.x templates to responsive design

Hello, I'm looking for a tutorial on converting vbulletin 3.8.x templates to responsive design.

We have a heavily customized forum and so I do not really want to take on the task of creating a new theme.

Just want to make my current design responsive. How would I go about doing that?

Appreciate all help.

Nearly no chance for this version.

There is this style that was released a short time ago from Sultantheme.com.

And yes, the style is responsive and the only style i know which ist responsive for 3.8.x.

There is no tutorial I'm afraid. If you want to make it responsive you'll most likely have to tackle that yourself.

It doesn't have exact tutorials that guiding you how to covert a vB template into responsive design over you learn by doing on a real template by yourself.

I tried this method and converted successfully my forum template into responsive design without any problems.

Of course you need to have knowledge of css, html and any vB codes

If you do not know the vBulletin platform, or know how to code, you will need to get a web developer to try and tackle this issue. Especially an already heavily customised theme will need a lot of work to redevelop and recode to suit the current responsiveness required for cross platform.

It is more than possible, you just need someone who knows how. Best option is to get someone to develop a totally new theme but similar to the former, but this may come at quite an expense.

Okay so I have kind of achieved some percentage of it myself.

I've removed sidebars from vbulletin cmps and make the width fluid. I've changed the navigation too to responsive code.

Then I removed all custom ranks and any images in the user profile field of postbit.

That's it! BAM! Majority of my pages are now responsive

Take a look here : Management Forum

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.

He may not be of much help to you after all this time (it's been nearly 5 years). Plus, it appears he now uses XenForo for his forums, not vBulletin.

No need to buy, free is available
