Default Vbulletin forum speed

Hi,

Is there a mod to make youre forum board goes faster? Think about a good cache mod, or...?

Yeah, definitely visit ozzmods and look over their htaccess and other tips. Max is sure to help you shave seconds off load times.

I am using a caching system for our webmaster forum

You can have a look on our forum http://www.webmastersun.com

If you like its speed , p.m me I can give you any suggestions to improve your forum speed.

Maybe some people here will not agree about its speed but because it is having more images on it thus it could affect to loading speed a bit more at this time.

Regards,

There are plenty of ways to make your forum "faster", it just depends on how far you want to go.
- For example you can cache complete pages with Varnish, which you should only do for guests.
- Upgrading to PHP 7 gives you a nice boost. (requires changes in vBulletin's core files)
- Optimize and compress all of your static files (CSS/JavaScript/images)
- Tweak your vBulletin settings (refer to the links posted by the other users)
- Minify HTML output

Then it also depends on where the server is located, if someone from America visits a forum in Russia then there's obviously an additional delay of at least 150-250ms between every request. If you only have visitors of a specific country then you should consider buying a server at that location.

There are still a bunch other of things you can do to "optimize" your forum, like I said it depends on how far you want to go.

"Some people here" grounded in reality who know your site is bloated and slow, and you only post in these threads to try to drive traffic to it.

Look at this horrendous, 28 second page load you have.

You are so funny and it's untrue, in my google webmaster tool, has around 2 to 4 clicks from vbulletin.com and vbulletin.org forum monthly and you think I am trying to get traffic from vb

Here's http://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/#!/dELc...bmastersun.com
Load time - 2.32s - Tested from New York City

https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.web...n.com/uSWyUVwn
Page Load Time - 4.7s - Test Server Region: Vancouver, Canada

4.013s for the second view, it is not bad, because as said, I am using a caching system so that if viewing more times, web pages will be cached and loaded better.

BTW, I wrote "Some people here" because I know, will have 1 or 2 people jump into this post and say this.

No, I do not think you are. I think YOU think you are.

Either way, posting your site as some model for speed, or mobile-friendliness which you also used to do, is patently silly. So there has to be SOME reason for it, (building backlinks perhaps?) because surely you don't believe your site is a good example of a well performing site. It's not, not by any stretch.

You can "test shop" all you want, cherry picking results you like seeing, but there's NO doubt that site is bloated and SLOW. It's loading 3.5 megabytes from 177 requests! It's NO example of speed.

Which is no better at all from the native caching systems vB has built in to it, native.

It's a slow site. 4 seconds on SECOND load is acceptable to you? That's unacceptable on first load!
