Mods aren't working?
So I am installing mods through my FTP program and than installing them through my XML and all that jazz but it appears that the mods aren't appearing. Like I am using a chat box, has the correct permissions and so forth but its still not working right. It's not just the chat box either it seems like its happening with all the mods I install.
I am usually 4.2.2 as I haven't upgraded just yet. I am using the Morbid theme from here but the mods aren't appearing there nor on the default theme. So I'm thinking something is crossed. Any help from anyone would be awesome. Thank you in advance. |

You don't install mods via ftp, you install them via admincp > Plugins & Products > Manage Products > Upload Product, and then you upload any files the install file tells you to upload. Make sure you upload the files to the appropriate place. And, make sure your plugins are enabled.

Right that's what I am doing, sorry for the confusion. I am installing them through the Admincp and than uploading the files I'm told too. Still nothing. They are enabled as well.

You have to upload the files first and then import in the admincp. Which mods are you trying to install? Which chat box? Where don't you see them? You see the settings in the admincp but not on the site?

We just decided to do a fresh install of VB and imported the tables over from our old DB that we needed and things are working fine now.
