Hey if somone could make this it would be so great that what can I say about that person, there are no words to describe him, ok this how this hack goes, in your admin cpanel, there is this thing that says Backup Forums, and Restore Forums, so when you click backup forums.. It backs up everything, styles, templates, database,all the images, all the php files, EVERYTHING!!! :cheeky: into a one file thats has your whole forum, and when you get hacked or an incedent happens by mistake where you delete your database by mistake or a file by mistake or when your installing a hack you make a big mistake, you can easily restore everything with ONE CLICK.. :laugh: :chinese:, I am requesting this hack cuz my forums got hacked :cry: One Click Backup and One Click Restore, all in one file.. I will add more details later..

Your backed up database is already one file (which includes all templates,styles, messages, users etc). Then all you need to do is to FTP to your server and download all PHP files to your local machine. If you want them to be a 1 file too, zip them

In fact what you want is not possible. Say your account has been hacked and all your files (and db) deleted completely. Which button of which file you plan to push to miracally get it back? There is no files left in your server, remember?

You have to upload at least 1 file to work such a system work and instread of uploading 1 file, you can just upload your back up directory, and restore MYSQL which is 2 clicks.. Besides there are a lot of different types of servers around (unix, linux, nt) and it would be an ardouous job to program such an feature.. There are a lot of different hosts with different features and permissions too. For example my host doesnt let me restore my MYSQL database, I have to sent the file to them so that they will do it for me..

I think this hack would neither practical nor necessary. Just my 2 cents (which you asked insistently) hehehe..

heh, nice idea, But it would be nice if someone made it, say like someone hacked my site, than i upload the "new" files of the same version, and install this hack again, than upload that "one file" and click that mircally button and every file, database, templates, users, posts everything is back up, and the new files I uploaded are replaced by the ones I backed up!!
