How can I add "word-wrap: break-word;" to urls in posts?

I'm working on a mobile theme, but links with long URLs that are in people's posts display wider than the viewport.

Where can I add the word-wrap: break-word; property to fix this?

Or is there a better solution?

To do that, you need to edit the URL BBcode tag definition.—editing the built-in BBcodes doesn't seem to be a simple task. There are a couple of plug-ins available here that modify that tag to add a rel="nofollow" attribute to the code. Maybe you could modify one of them (or use them as a model) to do what you want.
