New announcements and threads not appearing bold

I did some searching but nothing I found worked. I recently just went back to an old theme after trying something new and don't know what happened in between but now new unread announcements and threads are not appearing bold.

Is there an easy fix for this?

Perhaps the style is not compatible with the vB version you are running. You would need to contact the style developer and have them see what the issue is, since it does not happen on your default style.

Yeah but we used this same theme for a long time on the same version. We tried a wordpress integration and something went wrong so went back to the old theme, and then this problem happened.

Just checked and the threads are fine now. It's just the new unread announcements that are not appearing bold. New unread threads are fine. It's just the new announcements.

Do you have the same issue on a unmoddified default style?
