Lynn,
Yes. And the titles appear on the pages when they come up. They just don't appear in the Page Map box. i am using XP Pro. Tried several browsers too. |

That's very odd. Are you positive nothing is there or is it just that the text happens to be the same color as the background?
I can't seem to get my site to do the same thing so I can check the database to see what is going on. I do notice that sometimes nothing shows up on that list and so I have just gone to another page on the site and then to Page Map and that usually then shows all the pages. |

Thanks Lynne,
The Page Map box background color is white like in the screen shots, and I don't recall seeing any settings for the font color in that box. The default pages are blue as you can see in the screen shot. I wonder if there is a font color code in the database or in the code for a Page Map file? Is there a setting for page map font colors in the admincp? I looked at the Page Map from the sub-forum pages, and those maps were not only blank, the default pages in blue text in the prior screen shots were not listed either. Also the mouse did not change to a pointing finger anywhere inside the Page Map box, so I assume there were no new pages in those sub-forum Page Map boxes. Where would the page map list be in the database? And I was wrong in my prior post about the new page titles being displayed in the new pages. They are not displayed. |

As I said, I have found that sometimes the page map just shows an empty page. So, I do a Exit Without Saving and then I click to go to another page > Edit Page > Page Map and usually it will show up then.
I haven't looked at the code for the building the page map, so I honestly don't know what the query is. I would guess it grabs the data from the routenew table though. As for the pages not having titles, click Site Builder > Edit Page > Save Page and make sure you have entered something in the "Save the page name" area. |

Thanks Lynne,
I get the Page Menu pages totally blank when I edit a sub forum page, and partially blank when editing the home page. I looked at the database "Routenew" table and all the columns and indexes and saw no entries for any of the page names. Do you know exactly where I should be looking in the database? I was unable to find a "Search" box in the phpmyadmin to search "the entire" database for page names. But there was a search box that would search each column one by one, but that looked way too time consuming. Is there any difference in "Pages" and "Forums"? It seems that the same options and modules that are used in Forum creation are the same as for page creation. |

Lynne,
Ok, I found the general search box in the database and found the page and forum names in the Routenew and routeid tables. Is the "NULL" under names causing the page names to not appear in the Page Menu to be blank and if so, how to fix this? See attached screen shot. |

I was mistaken. The title is actually stored in the page table. If you have the routeid, you can search on that in the page table and make sure that there is a title there. Can you also check the parentid? I think that should be 0 for custom pages.
