Social groups are not working now
I disabled the social groups 3 weeks ago and I just enabled it again and now I am getting this permission problem....
Vbulletin Message Admin, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: 1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? 2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. I just doubled checked and everything is enabled. Can someone please help me? |

I'm having the same permission problem, and error message, when trying to add a discussion to a public group I created. I'm trying to set up groups, so this is the only group currently on the site.
I'm in the Administration usergroup, and all group options for that usergroup are set to yes, including Can Create New Discussions in Groups and Can Always Create Discussions. Groups are enabled User Profile options, and I can access the groups page and see the group I created. I can edit the group and upload group icons. But if I select Post New Discussion or View Photos from the Group Tools dropdown, I get the permissions error. Any idea what needs to change to make this work? This is VBulletin 4.2.1 --------------- Added [DATE]1382033039[/DATE] at [TIME]1382033039[/TIME] --------------- Found my problem. Enable Group Messages in Options/Group was set to No. |
