Default CMS preview to show desired image and text

How to make only desired image and specific part of text to appear in CMS preview?

Default is only the first image and "text lines from top till preview break" will appear in CMS preview.

You will have to customize your article layout your picture and your text, then set the desired break which the CMS can do. What you are asking can be done manually with ease, but there are no pre-formatted article templates in the CMS for automation.

What you are asking for can already be done within the CMS article editor. You just need to fool around with it a bit. In the CMS you can position a "page break" for lack of better words, any where you like. I guess it is more like a "preview break". The editor already has a WYSIWYG mode so you can wrap text around an image etc. Some things get a bit tricky, but it an be done. I would recommend using a new copy of "firefox" as your browser to be on the safe side.

What I was referring to automation: When you import a thread or a blog to the CMS you will have to manually adjust them. < -- This would require some coding, but I am not discussing that in this post.

[HINT]
If you turn on HTML, you can use it to assist you in the layout. Do not turn it on for your users!

Post an example article and explain what you want to see and I will format it for you. That should get you started.

Never see your Edit.

I know it can be done in HTML but I don't know HTML, and if I know, I wouldn't be asking here. That's why I need an example line.

I don't need to give you any sample article since it is quite straightforward. What lines should I put in the article so that specific part of the article's text appear in the preview. And what lines should I put into the article so that specifc image will appear in the preview.

Example article:

sdsdaf dsaf sdg dfh gh resgdfhjhn jrjdtrjmyt
bhh fg njmfjn nftn f rdyjfjrft thnrt bdhd dfdnbdn
dndfnd bdndf dfndfn dnmfdn nnfdnnd djndfn
image 1
image 2
vdsvbsdf dfbhfg ntgfnmf ftmnf fgfgxmd fmfgm
....

I want the red color text and image to appear in the cms article preview.
Straight forward answer please.

Add picture:
I want only desired text and desired image appear here:

I finally figured out what you were talking about from your example. It cannot be done via HTML, nor the default CMS, you need to add a parser to the CMS import logic. This will be much more than a couple of lines of code. You will have better success if you post this in the forum "request for paid modification". You might try in the "modification request / unpaid", but I doubt you will have any luck there.

That's unfortunate.

Should this be put on JIRA for 4.3 improvement?
But I'm very skeptical of VB4 future nowadays.
