Text Color Change
I apologize if this isn't the correct forum but I want to change the text color from #2379B5 which is the default to #000000.
I'm new to this stuff so I've looked and looked to no avail so hope some of you can point me the right direction. |

There are several different text colors used in a vB5 forum (and several pages, too). Can you please specify *exactly* what text you are trying to change.

Lynne,
I would like to be able to change all of these in blue to black. Thank you very much. |

Did you try the stylevar body_link_color ?

I saw that Lynne but never could find its definition when I was searching the styles.
I ran a text scan on the directory and see it defined in style_generator_sample_dark.xml and style_generator_sample_white.xml but not for sure what role they play in the system. I also tried putting it in the additional.css template and that didn't work for me so still stumbling. Thanks Lynne. |

What do you mean you tried putting it in the additional.css template (which doesn't exist in vB5 - it's called css_additional.css)? It's a stylevar. You need to go to Style Manager > select Style > Style Variable Editor > Go > find body_link_color > change color > save

I love you Lynne. I'd been hunting the thing for three days with firebug. Thanks a million. |
