I understand IE10 is HTML5 and CSS3 compliant. I also have been told and have read, that a win7 version is in the works. This would be a boon to me as CSS3 has a lot more tricks you can pull off with out having to use jquery or other scripts.
So the question remains when is it going to be released for win7? Any one seen anything about it?

Microsoft hasn't announced when they'll release the final version (AFAIK).

It was written to win8.
Personally speaking, I think it's a ploy to get more users to go with win8. They tease the win7 users with a preview. And I'd bet real money it doesn't get released for win7.
I admitt it, I could be wrong. Some how it just doesn't feel right.
