So i upgraded the forums from a 3.6.0 to 3.6.8. Everything seemed to go good, until i tried to log-in and found out i was banned. I should also note, i decided to ditch my mysql and use a friends, as a shell to start a new forum, since a mod he made, (which he installed on other forums fine.) would not work for me, once i tried installing it. He pulled out the member, post, thread, etc data and i was using what was left. It seems to be ip bans as i tried to log in on a browser i have never accessed the site with and got the same result, a perma ban with no ending date. As far as I know my members recieve it as well. (I imported my members table, but that was it.)

I don't understand at all what you did. You say you used a friends "mysql" - do you mean their database? You cannot take some other database and then replace some tables from another database in it (and a different version to boot) and expect things to work. You need to point the site to *your* database and run the upgrade script. Then you may go ahead and add any mods you want.
