Pay to start a thread in a specific forum?

Is there any simple hack / mod that I can use for my forum to accept payment for user to start new threads in it?

Someone recommended vBExperience to me but after reading the docs here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=245023, it doesn't seem to be clear to me how I can enable paid posts in a specific forum with this mod?

Also found this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=116605 but I'm currently in 4.x.x.

Any idea? Thanks a lot!
