[HELP] Editor/Smilie Stopped working 4.1.12

It was working fine a week ago & no new addons have been added & no edits were done to editor templates. It just stopped working.
No addons were installed that would alter editor template.

When making a post and adding a smilie to that post, clicking on the smilie does not add smilie code to post, it does nothing. Clicking on [More] below smilies wont load up smilies on popup.
I can however add smilie code manually to add smilie to post.

All File paths are correct for smilies.

I disabled all plugins & it still not working.

What could be causing this issue?

Same issue using FF & Safari

Its not my site, trying to help a friend & keep hitting dead ends trying to resolve the issues.
I would link the site but it is adult oriented.
I will pm you the link if you like.

I suppose I could take a look, you never know. If you have a test login, send that along as well.

Check the error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host) for the site. You may get some useful information about the issue there. Also, has he asked the host if they have done anything recently on the server?

lol... I know where they are in cpanel & FTP, I check mine often. Thank you for the info.

I do know it js related & as kh99 pm'ed me to start there as well.

I will have my friend contact their host regarding server setting for js & see what they can find.
