Is there any way to make the username of each different usergroup a different colour?

Could someone kindly instruct me as to how to change the colour of the font on the usernames to different colours for each different usergroup?

In the adminCP, Usergroup > Usergroup Manager > Edit Usergroup > Username HTML Markup, you can add html markup for before and after the user names. I think normally you'd add <span> and </span> with whatever attributes you wanted.

So, in the two boxes that are next to each other on the Username HTML Markup if I would just put <span> then does the color go here? and then </span>

You would put <span style="color: #FF0000;"> in the first box, and </span> in the second.

Change #FF0000 to the color you want the username to be. You can find a list of color hex codes here: http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colors.asp

In the first box you'd need something like <span style="color:green"> or <span style="color:#FF0000">. Or you could define classes for each usergroup (by putting the CSS in the additional.css template) then use <span class="admin"> or whatever.

The second box would just be </span>.
