Embedded Pictures In Posts Stopped Fully functioning

I have a fresh copy of 4.1.10 with very few mods installed.

Up until yesterday, I could insert a picture from an on-line source, and reference it locally.

After the upload, I could click on the picture and specify the size and other parameters.

This functionality of changing picture characteristics just flat stopped working without any configuration change to my vb setup.

I can no longer click on the image and change size, justification etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried different computers with no effect.
