Default VB owners of simmilar interest

I work in an industry that has masses of VB Forums. I would like to have an easy way to find these other site owners that are in the same industry as I am. Due to the nature of the business it's very hard to search and find these forums individually. I often deal with things which I would like to share with other sites but just don't have hundreds of hours to sit running searches trying to find them.

Is there any sort of VB resource listing or tool available that would help in this process?

For example I am running a promo for a trade show that every forum dealing with my industry could greatly benefit from. Currently I have about 100 vb forums that are sharing my information but I know there are dozens I am missing. As I often run marketing campaigns that everyone in my industry can benefit from a resource of this nature would be immensely helpful.

Does anyone have ideas on this or suggestions for me? or maybe something like this already is available if so please point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Thanks for the replies but I have tried the google search and in reality it only pulls some of the accounts.

The VB Listing page is user submittied, of the 100 sites I already have I only see 2 listed there an nothing extra that I didn't already have.

Keep the ideas coming please.

Respectfully, this sounds like a request for a source list to target unsolicited marketing and advertising.

Just my 2 cents

Well that is a bit of a presumption. I do not work with anyone who doesn't want the content nor do I force it upon them. It is their choice to allow the content and or participate. Fortunately most see the benefit in cooperation and realize that through some strategic planning and information sharing we can all benefit.

This has nothing to do with selling something it is about sharing information and content relavent to the industry and working together to allow for a larger growth rate for all of us.

I already work with 100 forums in my industry who get it and are more than willing to participate. Now does that sound like unsolicited marketing to you?

Yeah and? To offer fellow forum owners in the same industry content for their forum which is something they may not otherwise obtain free of charge through a network of sharing information. What is difficult to understand about that?

I gave one example of the type of content which I can provide due to my day job within the industry. This isn't a paid service nor am I selling anything.

I just want to be able to contact all the forums owner within the same industry as I am to see if they would like to have the content one their forums. This isn't spam nor am I posting unsolicited content on their forums.

Not all forum owners are information sequestering closed minded invididuals and can see the bigger picture through something like this. If they don't want the content then they just say NO.

I would welcome this kind of opportunity if it helped my forum in anyway. But then again I work in the industry which pertains to my forum and understand that sharing information is what gets us all further down the road.

So you will not mind then sharing with us your site and provide us with some of your free content, will you?

Sure if you are in the Radio Control business or have a forum specific to Radio Control by all means let me know! Some of the content pertaining to industry news I would be glad to share with other sites. If I can be a part of getting industry news into the consumers hands the more likely they are to sign up for an account be it my forum or another.

Lets face it nothing posted online is secure from being transferred to other sites. Why not work together and share some items instead of trying to hoard it? In the end everyone benefits!
