Jakub03, usually when you download a mod, there is a "readme" or "install" text document with them in the zip file that explains how to install them. You should always read the last few comments of a mod thread to see what kind of problems people are having with it (if any exist) before trying to install it yourself. Edited to add: And always do a database backup before installing a new mod.
Not every mod is the same so please read the instructions for it carefully. Most of the time you upload the files in the downloaded folders to their appropriate files on your server, for instance... your downloaded mod has a folder called "admincp", in that folder would be a file like "modname_admincp.php", the "modname_admincp.php" file would be uploaded to the "admincp" folder on your server. A lot of times your downloaded mod will have an "includes" folder and in that folder you might have an "xml" and "cron" folder along with a php file that is there by itself. You would upload the content inside the "xml" folder to the "xml" folder that is inside your "includes" folder on your server, you would do the same with the contents inside the "cron" folder by uploading it to the "cron" folder inside the "includes" folder on your server, the php file that is by itself would go directly into the "includes" folder. If your mod has an image folder that has its own folder inside it named something like "acoolmod", you would upload that entire "acoolmod" folder into the image folder on your server. Once you have made all of the appropriate uploads to your server you will probably have to go to your admin control panel and where you see "Plugins & Products" on the left, you would click on that and then click on "Manage Products". At the bottom of your list of installed products you will see [Add/Import Product] and after you click on that you can browse your downloaded mod folder for its product xml file and import it. If you added the mod correctly you should be able to find settings for it in Settings > Options in the control panel. |

Sometimes you will need to hire someone's services also. It isn't that expensive.

I hired someone to install photopost and then I did the rest. If I needed to upgrade Vbulletin I would hire someone to do it again.
