SMF News section can we add one?
Is it possible to add a news section like they have on SMF, so simple text can be shown before the main forums?
For a better explination see pic.... Thanks for looking.. |

I think that's just a notice and they've changed the title from "Notices" to "News"

It does look like a Forum but with free txt that is editable in a better way than VB, however I do get the feeling that it is a seperate area that you can type txt into. You have to use html to get line breaks and paragraphs.
See http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp if you don't know html EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean -- notices don't have a header (they did in vB3). You'll have to add one in the appropriate template |
