New to this world

Not sure if I am posting this in the right thread, but here is my issue.

Have resently taken over a site coded in phpBB and we want to convert it to vBulletin. Have been searching the available skins here but since most are just demo's, can't really tell if they will meet our initial needs.

We are a fan site that supports Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean online game. I guess one of the big items we have are medals nominated by our members, which include text as to why they were nominated. We are trying to not loose the options we currently have.

Our site can be viewed at www.disneypotco.com. We realize the layout can't be matched, but we don't want to loose what we have. Looking for an initial skin we can use and then I can try to modify a skin/layout to what we really would like. Have never working in any type on web applications but am a programmer by profession, so I understand the logic behind programming.

As I said, this is all new to me, so I am looking for some direction. Any help is appreciated.

There is a similar Awards plugins, although it's a bit outdated members did report it working.

As for the skin, you need some thing grungy, oldish, you're using a WoW or Runescape styled theme.

Once you get the hang of it and if you have some graphical designing experience you can easily customize it.

Thanks for the information, especially the medals info. Hope to have something up in a week or two that I can start working in.
