Moderated posts in Notifications

I was wondering if someone could code an additional notification for the Notifications drop down box.

I'd like a line to read that there is a post or thread that needs to be approved/moderated.

So basically, a member posts a post/thread, maybe they're on Moderator Preview or the system flags it as spam. Before it is public it has to be approved.

Mods/Admins are notified by by it appearing in their drop down box.

Thoughts?
