Default I have no Navbar? o.O

Ok so I got a new skin for my forum, But theres just one problem. I have no Navbar on it.
I contacted the person who I bought the skin from, and he didn't fix it. So I kinda gave up on that part. Does anyone know where to put the codes for this? All my other skins have something like <---Navbar---> But this one doesn't...

Look in the style, do you have a "navbar" template?

search the style for the text: $navbar
what templates, if any, is it included on?

Compare it to a working/default style to see where it's missing.

If you have a template for the navbar you could just try adding $navbar to the templates that would normally have it and see if it works. Again look at the default style to see where and in what templates it should be.

If you don't have a navbar template at all then you bought a pretty shoddy style- hopefully you can get in touch with who you bought it from for an explanation.

You could manually add a new template to the style, call it navbar and then copy the template code from the default style and paste it in. It won't be customized to your style but it will work and you can work on making it look right after you get it working.

I asked the person who I got it from, and they told me something about they didn't put the navbar in. I will prolly be able to add the navbar from the other skins I have, but I need to know where to put it.. At the moment this is the code for the header where the navbar should be:
Code:
<!-- logo -->
<a name="top"></a>
<table width="95%" border="0" align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0">
  <tr>
    <td class="topwrap"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tr>
        <td class="topL">&nbsp;</td>
        <td><div align="right" id="navstyle"></div></td>
        <td class="topR">&nbsp;</td>
      </tr>
    </table></td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td class="headerwrap"><table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
      <tr>
        <td class="logowrap"><a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]"><img src="images/dreamland/spacer.gif" alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]" width="312" height="115" border="0"/></a></td>
        <td class="afterlogo">&nbsp;</td>
        <td valign="top">

&nbsp;
</td>
      </tr>
    </table></td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td valign="top" class="cwrap">
<!-- /logo -->

<!-- content table -->
$spacer_open

$_phpinclude_output

$ad_location[ad_header_end]

There are many templates you will have to edit if none of them have the $navbar line in them.

forumhome, forumdisplay, showthread, and many others.

Do you have a default style installed? If so do a search in that template for $navbar and see where they are in the code and copy them to this style.

The navbar does not go in the header.
