Default vBCMS Elements Randomly Disappearing

So we recently updated our vB install to 4.x, and have been having all sorts of issues with the CMS.

The biggest problem is disappearing elements. If you load ModMyi.com, on the front page you see the author, read more, date, and various elements simply sometimes do not appear (it seems most often on the first load). Pressing refresh loads them fine most times.

I cannot find anything which would cause this and no one seems to have experienced it. Ideas?

I went to ModMyi.com and after it loaded (it took a LONG time to load - over a minute, seriously) I saw the article title, date, author, readmore, #replie and #views for every artilcle on that page. I tried doing a refresh to see if I would see differently, and after even more time (1.5 minutes), it refreshed and I saw the exact same thing.

I would strongly advice you do use something like firebug to see what is taking so long to load on that page and adjust as needed.

I 2nd the slowness..
I gave up after 20 seconds of loading, according to firebug you have a ton of different advertisers on that page.. might want to limit the amount of code you add to help troubleshoot your other issues.

Hey guys - we're the number one iOS blog on the net, and you were loading during Apple's once-yearly keynote. Today's about the slowest we'll ever be, happens every year.

(normal loads are under 2 seconds)

Hello,

That doesn't mean the 20 advertiser codes you have all over that site isn't messing with the vbcms issues you're having.

Oh of course, I'm just saying the load times aren't typical, and are unrelated to the issue at hand.

I should mention as well - the same thing happens in our mobile version, which has no ads at all.

Why did you ask for help with this issue on a day when you knew the site was going to be slow? Sorry, but it's painfully slow and people will just give up trying to load it and then won't be able to help.

My apologies, we are still experiencing this issue among others. If anyone is a vb and vbseo expert and can help, I'm more than happy to pay well and am in need of the help.

I spoke with Brandon Sheley but I believe he wasn't aware of http://www.vbseo.com/f2/vbseo-functi...sibility-1662/ and thought I was being daft trying to explain it, ha. Any help is much appreciated!
