Restrict registration email to domain?

I'd like to restrict registration to only company email addresses and nothing else. Since we're a college we all use our work email addresses for registration which end in .edu

So under banning options I've got banned email addresses listed as follows. leaving out .edu

This is not an ideal solution. Ideally I'd like to be able to restrict registration to just our domain.edu email addresses.

Is this possible?

Make registrations moderated? You can also close registrations and make a few admins to help register or approve other members.
