I'm looking for a mod that let's me close the forum for members only and leave the portal open.

Isn't this possible by changing the permissions of the Unregistered / Not Logged In group?

Go to adminCP ---> Settings ---> User Registration Options ---> Allow new registration =NO

No, If I change that permission then everything will be close. The Unregistered users won't be able to see anything (Forum and Content Page)
