Default Sub-Forum Indent

Hi, I've tried everything to avoid posting a thread about this.

Below is the Quick Navigation Menu for the forum.. I have a sub forum that appears there, but it I want my forum view to show it.. indented under the parent forum.

I hope this explains it well..

Category
-- Forum
-- -- Subforum

Instead of this:

Category
-- Forum -- -- Subforum

I can't tell at all what is going on with that image you posted. It looks like a mess of text to me and I can't tell what is wrong in it.

Where you see the red circle, the bottom forum is indented because it's a sub forum and the top one is as normal.

But when you're on ''http://www.website.com/forum/'' it doesn't show it indented.. it's hidden until you click into the top forum.. only then you can see there's a sub forum.. I want the forum to appear on ''http://www.mywebsite.com/forum/'' as a sub forum but indented and not hidden.

Thanks for your reply.. I hope I made sense.

What do you mean it's hidden until you click into the top forum? You mean it doesn't show in the Quick Navigation menu? That is a forum setting in the forum manager.

So you aren't talking about the Quick Navigation at all, you are talking about the forum listings on the forum.php page?

Do you currently have the sub-forum showing under the forum only it isn't indented? Do you have your settings correct in AdminCP > Settings > Options > forum listings display options ? What are your settings there? If you have it greater than 2, then you need to copy the "forumhome_forumbit_level2_post" and "forumhome_forumbit_level2_nopost" templates and name them as level3 (if you have that set to 3) and level4 (if you have it set to 4), etc. Once you copy the template, you may edit it however you want to be indented and such.

No, but I used it as the way I wanted the forum.php to appear as.. sorry for the confusion.
The ONLY way you can see that the sub forum even exists is if you go into that forum where the sub forum is located.. or on the Quick Nav menu.

It's not showing under the forum.. I want it so show.. and show indented..

I saw a setting I missed before and enabled it.. my sub forum appears as

Sub-Forums: Forum name

I'm happy with that but hoped it would appear as the rest but smaller..
I just have a feeling I saw it somewhere before

Paul, did you read what I wrote about the options? If you want it like how you are showing, then you need to set it in the forum listings display options page. And then you may need to copy the template as I stated to get level 3 templates.
