New Site for new Users
Hello.
I have a question. Is it possible to create for each new user on the forum own site? I wish there's some custom profile fields and install your own scripts. It is therefore for each user to create a site such as www, my-forum, de /-user_forum germany.php or something like that. How can I implement it? Thank you. --------------- Added [DATE]1295061974[/DATE] at [TIME]1295061974[/TIME] --------------- Sorry for double post, however, I believe Google is not well to translate. I have a question. I would want this for every user a new side is provided. On this new side I would like to insert profile fields and some other things. Is this possible? Can somebody help me in it? A new side should be provided. So I am a kind "This" side. |

Basically you want it so that when a new members registers at www.my-forum.de it will automatically create a custom and editable page for that new member to use sort of like their own custom webpage? Example URL would be: www.my-forum.de/username_forum_germany.php ? I would think a mod like that would be allowed however if I misread wrong and your wanting to create custom subdomains like user.my-forum.de/user_forum_germany.php then no that from what I understand would violate the license agreement. Now, having this developed/implemented is another story in itself as well as your wanting custom profile fields on that page and I know there would be more to it then your description as one good idea is followed by another . |

Thinking out loud here.....
1. Install https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...hreadid=210482 2. Edit the server's .htaccess to point to a custom script instead of 404.html, so that when www.my-forum.de/myname-forum-germany.php comes through, it can be intercepted. 3. The custom script would then parse myname out of myname-forum-germany.php, and if myname is a valid member name, redirect to member.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$bbuserinfo[userid] (remember to use userid instead of myname). 4. If myname is not a valid member name, the custom script would redirect to 404.html |
