Why can not enter the forum members by using internet explorer

Suggest using Vb4.0.8. Members can not enter the forum using Internet explorer. write the name and password. Sighted at the entrance to the forum are unable seems like is introduced. ie7 not the case. How do I solve.

well all i know that 4.0.8 had patch 1 n patch 2 and i think in 2nd one they did fix this issue eventhough that still happen sometimes... cux i jst recently bought 4.0.8 and it has quite few problems. sometimes it does happen when u click on log in it shows u redirect page and then it won't show u as a logged in but if u refresh the page u will b seein urself as logged in... well first u need to know if u installed patch1 or patch2 cux i think they did fix internet8 issue in patch 2 but not completely.

Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

Also, check your htaccess file for anything related to mod_expire or mod_headers and remove (temporarily) and then see if you have the same issue.

I'm assuming you have the cookie domain set correctly to .yoursite.com also.
