attachment problem

[GT2002]

Here is what i get whenever attaching a large file "No forum specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the webmaster"

my my.cnf configuration

set-variables = max_allowed_packet=2400000M

my php.ini

upload_max_filesize = 2000000000M

i also did

In functions.php, replace this:

i have tried and tried to get vbb
to upload and attach files 1mb in size...

it does not do so....

i have tried changing
all the varables and still no go.

we get told . login to the members page.....

well i dont want to purchase something
that does not work to start with

maybe if someone would help people
instead of locking everything down
then more may purchase.

i just want a product thats going to work.
