Adding custom 'badges' to specific users
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for adding custom badges to specific users. What I would like to do is make it so user X has a badge - just an image, really - tied to their account so that whenever they post it appears in their post. Here is an example of how our current posts look. My understanding is that user Ranks could work for this, but from what I can tell they are placed whereever the user info is placed (location, post count, etc). Is this correct? Can that be edited? I would love to learn how to make the badge appear in... ...the space that a signature occupies, only the badge is justified to the right. Or... ...just to the left of the 'Report' button in my link above. Or... ...after their information. Or... ...under their avatar. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you |

There is a mod called "North American Sports Teams Icons" for VB 3.8- but you can set any images you want, it doesn't need to be sports logos... also you don't have to make the field public, you can make it so only the admin can set the image- but if you follow the instructions with those changes you'll be set.
Here: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=224345 You can edit it to suit your needs. |

Will this allow me to decide where to place these images?

The default instructions place them at the bottom of the postbit area but you could move the display code anywhere you want, such as under the username or under the avatar.
