Converting a 3.8 VB to 4..
I'm trying to come up with whether or not this is possible.
I have a site which I am moving from one location to another. It is currently running VB3.8.4. I'd like to upgrade it to VB4, but I also want to use the CMS and switch hosting providers. So, I have the new hosting provider, and I can setup the VB4.0 (I'm in the "ready to buy category basically), but I'm wondering how difficult it would be to "import" from the DB file, which would exist on the other server (I have FTP and admin rights there, I could move the file when I shut the other host down) but I'm trying to figure out the smoothest way to do this, since I'd like to be able to build the template to look "right" before I cut over and make the transition. Does this make sense? |
