For some reason my site is getting about 10 new spam bots a day and I am trying to figure out how to stop them, most have not posted but i was checking the names and all of them had ad banners in their signatures. Any help would be appreciated

Why you don't use captcha? Just use reCaptcha or the GD-Library. It's all already build in on vB software.

i am using the Enhanced Image Captcha and they are still getting in

I use Human Verification. I add a handful of questions I make up and set an answer. Simple questions that anyone can answer but bots can't understand those questions.

Also, I've added a gender field in their profiles that is required during registration. I made it a pull down list. Again, bots can't do a pulldown. or so I'm told.
