Why do you want a vB3 navbar get a good JS based navbar and use that. vB navbars suck anyway.

i just changed vb4 forum structure to vb 3 but i did keep the navigation the vb 4 look.

do you own the other style .i would just copy the css and divds and put it in your template. without a working board it is hard ... but that is the first way .
