Android app login intergration
Is there a way to intergrate your Vbulletin login into android app?
Like persay your app was like a community app with contributions.. Is there a way that you could intergrate databases so when you login on the app they can use the user and pass from vbulletin --------------- Added [DATE]1277334481[/DATE] at [TIME]1277334481[/TIME] --------------- Well? is there a way? |

Well yes there is a way. Though it would just be simpler to download a mobile style. If you don't your style will be harder for your members to use with their smart phone. Try searching here on vb.org for mobile features. If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I hope this helps.

Do you mean like roaming threads? Or do you already have a different app you designed?

I have an app. It has nothing to do with forums. Its a place people go to upload things. I would like to intergrate my vbulletin user database and maybe their ranks in the app for login.

Bumping this thread since it'd be nice to get pointed in the right direction for android apps.
Using vbulletin for some custom stuff, I'd just like to know how to fire off a cookie session properly. |

Feel free to poke into how we did it for Tapatalk. Look for "authorize_user" method
