1st preview image larger than successive images

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone could figure out a way of setting a different resize value for the first preview image in a section? I want all my pages to display 1x2 (1 at top, 2 side by side for the following rows) and I want the picture for the latest article sizeably larger than the others to make it stand out.

Any ideas if this is possible?
