Be easier to just create a new bbcode, and call it Quote if thats what you want to do.

Essentially, make a bbcode to emulate the code tags, but call it quotes or similar.

Then contact the coder of that MOD and ask if he will update.

There is a process on here, dont ask 3rd parties to amend code, before you have exhausted all avenues to contact the original coder.

Plus you need to be definitive about what you want to achieve.

We have custom watermark within our Quote tags. I daresay we could if the need ever arose, customise the quote tags completely.

I think you are missing the point.

To custom code your CODE. for tags you need to understand the actual bbcode that creates this , and the css behind it. It would be easier to use your energy in contacting the person in your link ^ there.. and asking them to update their code
