Anyone good with CSS?

I am working on a project for a class. I have a navbar that I want in the middle of the screen, and can't seem to find the right combo of CSS code to do so.

Instead of CSS use html lol.

Well the navbar is just a <ul> so how would I make it so it's centered horizontally?
