I have basically got a system which requires all users to be moderated before they are verified and can post without moderation. So the COPAA group has very basic feature with more browsing options disable by default.

When the user i upgraded into a normal usergroup those same default browsing options remain the same. When I go to options to change this, ticking the boxes and saving just reverts back to what is used to be (unticked boxes) what's going on?

if u have usergroup promotion on then they have to meet the requirements that u have set...if they meet only one of the requirements...it wont let ya promote them.

I think you might be talking about something else.

I am talking about the registration options in the vB options page. What user promotions got to do what those?

Can you please explain a bit more what your problem is. Where do you change these options?
