Is it possible for someone to create a hack that does not only delete the actual attachments but the bit on the page where that attachment was?

have you seen the admin functions that were added by tubedog?

they allow admins to remove attachments and they remove the link on the post.

That reminds me, how can I change the total post count? I used that hack before and my user post counts didn't go down but the total did. I have the number of posts I lost but how do I add them to the total?
