I'm sure 3.x used to show the last poster in the subscribed threads, and my users have certainly been complaining it's not there....is there a mod which displays it. I'm sure I can't find it in the out the box settings.

Same here. I don't know why they took that out. Anyone know of a way to add it back in?

For those of use more accustomed to just uploading a product and leaving it, could you please translate exactly what i need to do here....

Firstly, where might I find the threadbit_display hook?

Most good editors will allow you to search in directories, not just a single file.

Anyway, I did a quick search and they have the new lines in there and I looked at my test site, and it's there in version 4.0.2.
