The first post, they posted an image. If you're not logged in, the image doesnt show. I had to log in as Admin to see the image. There was another post like that but I still couldnt see the image when I logged in as admin. Help! How to make everyone see the pictures? |

Check Attachments > Attachments Permissions
and Usergroup Manager > Edit Usergroup > Can Download Attachments > yes |

Hi I think I fixed it now but are attachments pictures where you do [ img]url here[/img] or is it actual file uploaded attachments? Or both?

[ img ] tags are used to link to outside urls for images, although you can put a link to an already uploaded url using them also.

So then whats the point of wat I just did? Cuz I dont think they used an already uploaded url when they posted, (maybe they did but probably not)

If they uploaded the image as an Attachment, then you just changed the permissions on who can view it.
If they used [img] code for an offsite URL, then that has nothing to do with it and you shouldn't be having that problem. If they are, on the off chance, using [img] code for an Attachment URL, then permissions would still be in effect. |
