Disable Mod_Rewrite Friendly URLs?
I mistakenly enabled Mod_Rewrite Friendly URLs before I was able to enable the mod_rewrite module on my server. Now I can't access my website. Is there a way to disable it elsewhere....like in the database?
Thanks! |

If you have ftp access rename the .htaccess file to temp in your forum root dir. That should then give you access to the adminCP.

Nope, that didn't change anything. I renamed the .htaccess file but it is still trying to open the friendly URL.
Anything else I can do? --------------- Added [DATE]1261116556[/DATE] at [TIME]1261116556[/TIME] --------------- I tried changing the friendly url value in the setting table to 1 (from 3) but that didn't work either. Can't really figure out what is wrong. I have now also enabled mod_rewrite on my server but that doesn't help. If I type in my domain it still wants to go to: http://mydomain.com/content/1-the-front-page --------------- Added [DATE]1261116874[/DATE] at [TIME]1261116874[/TIME] --------------- I'm able to access http://mydomain.com/forum.php but not any pages that uses Mod_Rewrite Friendly URLs. --------------- Added [DATE]1261117207[/DATE] at [TIME]1261117207[/TIME] --------------- Ok, so I was able to access the ACP since it doesn't use friendly URLs, and turn it off. |
