I have a directory of 200 pictures from a event I would like to post in my forum but it only allows me to pick and choose one at a time.

is there a mod or another way so i can just ul the whole dir or select all images?

welcome to the club.

you can just add more 'browse' buttons to a page, but you still have to select the pics one at a time, then click upload.

and there is no better way of doing it in vB4

You can change the settings on how many attachments you may upload to a post in vboptoins > message attachment options. I don't know of a mod that lets you pick several at a time although I have seen users posts about doing this.

Kinda like in wordpress nextgen gallery plugin, you can just select all images and it will upload all of them at once so no need to do each one manually....

been asking for this for 2 years on vB.com and here.

uploading life facebook where it shows all the photos in a folder, you just go 'select all' and click upload.

ya right. Ive been uploading 200 pics and more every day for 2 years, clicking one at a time. I have arthritis now and my eyes bleed when i cry.

I'm also a photographer who needs to upload hundreds of eventphotos into a useralbum.
It would be great to get a Flash or Java based mass/multiupload for photos in VB.

I would also pay for such a solution, because as TNCclubman says: you get arthritis from clicking the whole day to upload so many photos - apart from spending 12 hours to do something, which could be done in just one click. So if there is a developer with some free time to develop such an upload, let me know.

Before using VB I used a program which imported the photos from a directory on the webserver. This way I could upload my photos via FTP and it imported them with one click into the onlinealbum. Maybe easier to develop, because you need no clientsoftware like Flash or Java?

Does anyone know, if there will be a massupload in the VB4 suite?
