No mods needed:
AdminCP -> Usergroups -> Edit Permissions -> Maximum Stored PM: 0. 0 causes PM'ing to be disabled for anyone in that usergroup. |

thats blocking all that usergroup from pm'ing, I was after blocking pm's from usergroup to usergroup example: member to respected users: not block all usergroups

No, you edit the permissions of the usergroup you DO NOT want PM's sent/received.

I think he wants (for example):
Registered users CANNOT Private Message Administrators, but can private message everyone else. I've not heard of any method of doing this. |

If that is the case, then there is no such way to do this, unless the administrators disable Private Messaging in their accounts.

There is no option to do this and I don't think I have ever seen a modification for it either. It would not be just a couple of line plugin to write. You would have to check the usergroup of the user sending and then check the usergroup of everyone the user is sending the PM to.

yeh for example the Member usergroup can't PM Respected Members but they can still PM every other usergroup. Pity theres nothing around for it I think it would be quite popular
