vBulletin/Wordpress vs. vBulletin/Drupal
I'm evaluating CMS solutions for managing non-vBulletin content on a new site. The non-vBulletin content at this point would be articles and blogs only, but the site is likely to grow quickly and we will evolve it organically. Podcasts, video streams and events management are probably highest the list for future offerings.
I have a fair amount of Drupal experience under my belt and have not dabbled with Wordpress in a while and I hear it has come a long way since the early days. I thought I would cast a net and solicit opinions on the two solutions and how they measure up, given the above requirements. Particularly from folks who have had a chance to evaluate both combinations. Opted to not create a poll because I'm sure there will be many write-ins for Joomla, vB extensions/hybrids or whatnot, which are simply not on the table for me. I realize I'm not outlining my requirements in much detail here, so feel free to ask questions if you need more info. Thanks in advance! |
