Problem with "Sorting" of thread titles, only for "logged in" users
I am having an odd problem I have not seen before.
When you goto the "Forum Display" where you can see a list of all the threads in that forum, at the top you can "sort" it. By date/reputation/name etc. A few different options. Well Ive always seen VB automatically sort it by date of last post.So you see threads with newest posts up top, threads with oldest posts at bottom. This is the case for all "guest" users. But as soon as I login it sorts it some other way. I have to click on the "last post" buttun to make it sort that way. Even after doing this leaving the forum and coming back it does not save that setting. Am I missing somewhere in a permission/setting I need to change to set this up so it always displays "Last post" on top of the listing? Thanks. |

admincp --> forum manager --> edit forum, change sort order for said forum.
You can also select this in your usercp. You can also mass change those options in the maintenance area using the query tool. |
